What are you desiccant made from?

Our silica pouches are made from synthetic non-woven fabric such as Tyvek or a non-woven polypropylene. 

Within the desiccant bags is silica gel:

• Description: A porous, granular form of silicon dioxide.

• Features: Highly effective at absorbing moisture; non-toxic and chemically inert.

• Appearance: Usually clear or white beads, sometimes with indicator beads that change colour when saturated.
